Close encounters of all kinds


This update took a while - I had a small vacation two months ago (and, spoilers - I'll have another one on Christmas, oh I'm resting so much!), and I also went through some troubles at the beginning of December, but I'm still standing (yeah, yeah, yeah), so albeit delayed, new devlog still arrives. Today we focus on random encounters - as we are getting closer to EA release, it is time to give them some facelifting too. So, check these out!

Encounter update: Aquatic Creatures

One eternity after it being coded, the Aquatic Creatures encounter receives proper story!

You're getting inside her, one way or another

Hungry Shark Girls are prowling around; you can get their attention with some food - if you're not afraid of becoming food yourself. If you don't have anything to lure them in with, worry not - there's a magical item hidden on the map, called Bag of Holding Moulding! What can you mould with it? Why, some edibles, of course! Put them on the ground and slowly back away - once the predator has one of her wombs filled, you can serve a creamy dessert for another. 

If you do everything right, two new gallery entries will be your reward.

Encounter update: Satyresses


Visuals for the encounter have been slightly updated - the group of dancing women you summon is now actually present on the screen, not only in your imagination xD.

Additionally, I figured that, since the outcomes of this encounter are random, it might be kinda frustrating to reach the desired one, so now the logic behind this is as follows:

  • Satyresses are summoned every time you read any scroll while drunk (no random chance anymore);
  • the first outcome you see is guaranteed to be a sex scene; if you summon them multiple times, all the following outcomes are random (sex, fight or party).

Hope more players will be able to find this interaction naturally now.

Encounter update: Hide and Seek

This encounter now has proper story!

Better don't disappoint her, or else...

Make sure to please the young Vampire, who's about to become your new mistress (temporarily). But remember, she's not the only one inhabiting the mansion, her Mother is living there too, so calculate your efforts accordingly...

Prepare to get scaroused! Wait, does "scar-" stand for "scared" or "scarred"?..

Three new gallery entries can be discovered if you're not afraid to put your health (perhaps even life) at risk in this dangerous trial. 

This encounter will also receive updated tiles in certain parts of the map, when I get them, but for now I'll be switching to other stories.

Encounter update: Deal with the Genie

Are you seeing the pattern already? Yes, finally proper story, and yes, new gallery entries (whopping 4 of them)!


This Genie only grants one wish, but that's exactly the amount of wishes you had in mind anyways, right? Don't be rude and use this opportunity to fulfill her desires too!

New unlockable images (WIP)

The work on extra pictures for regular girls is going full ahead. They will be added in the future updates, but I can tease some of them already, like for instance, this here hot and fiery Phoenix:

Tiles updates

As promised, I'm gradually replacing the placeholders with proper tiles as I receive them from the artist. Over 50 new tiles for items, effects, characters, traps and other entities have found their intended place in the game.

Boobs? Wanna touch boobs? Better don't, these have sharp edges

Other updates and bug fixes

  • the web-based build on Itch had the routing broken after recent Itch update, which lead to the game showing "page not found" message when you pressed "Run game" - this is now fixed;
  • the game now correctly checks if an item can be weared by the hero when auto-equip setting is on (previously it allowed to bypass certain restrictions like wearing a cock sleeve when the hero has no, well, cock);
  • in-game help screen now has a bit more details about controls;
  • WebGL context loss error that crashed the game is now caught and properly reported (but you'll have to restart the game manually for now - sorry, I'll try to improve this further).

Demo branch out

Up until now, the game didn't have a demo - it was a monolith project, which was slowly growing, but didn't have enough content to afford cutting some of it for the demo. Yet, if I want to sell this game one day, having the demo is usually a good idea. So, starting from this moment, the version of the game currently deployed to Itch becomes the demo. The demo will keep receiving updates with new items, interactive objects, traps and other stuff - generally speaking, 99% of the gameplay-related content will be available in the demo, so you can experience pretty much everything the game has to offer, playing wise. However, the story content for the demo will be frozen - new random encounters and new chapters for Idyllic locales' rulers (like The Succubus) will go directly into the full version of the game (which will be coming to Steam in the foreseeable future). Existing story content is not gonna be taken out from the demo - 3 encounters and 5 story chapters will still be available in it.

I hope this model makes sense.

In conclusion

Its that time of the year again! Let's hope the next one is gonna be at least not worse than the one that is nearing its end.
