The Girls of your Dreams
You woke up one day with a dream. Harem full of demon girls… Wait… Agh HELL!
You go to sleep one day, and find yourself in a dream: exotic girls, monster girls, and yes demon girls too. Whether you dream of bedding lamias, onis, cowgirls or succubi, you’ve fallen into the right place, Dreamwalker.
Enter a realm of dreams to find adventures over and over again, striving to survive long enough to make it to one of three idyllic locales: the Succubus’ Castle, the Kitsune’s Abode, or the Dark Elven Fortress, all three with their sensual rulers; it’s up to your skill to reach the summit, but they decide whether you measure up. Impress them, and gain rewards far beyond what you ever thought possible, even in dreams.
Game features:
- Classic Roguelike/Roguelite gameplay: make your way through randomly-generated dungeons with a few predetermined levels, permanent death, turn-based action with full freedom! Take any action, whenever you want!
- Hacking and slashing, monster slaying? Hah! More like monster laying! No combat! All encounters are hot, heavy and sexual! Would you not rather make love than violence?
- Amazing in-game encounter variety! The dev team tries to think of everything you might want from a game where fucking hot girls and going through dungeons is your mission!
- A diverse cast of women to encounter! Succubi, Vampires, Angels, Onis, Cow or Catgirls, Lamias and more! If you find it, you can fuck it!

Please note: this game is in early access. Notice the version? It is in very early access. It's raw, it's unfinished, it's unpolished, it lacks content. This game has a great future, but this future is very distant. I know what you think: "huh, yet another version point one game, which will probably take years to be finished..." Well, you're not wrong. This is a hobby project that I work on exclusively in my spare time, and I don't have much of it. At least I won't charge you anything! That's right, no milking through Patreon or any other platform, this game will cost you nothing, so why not, might as well try it out? Awful lure, I know. But, if you somehow fall for it, can I ask you for another favour? If you find a bug, or if you have a really cool idea, or if you have questions - please let me know about it. Comment here, or on Reddit, or on Discord; you can also check the game and leave a comment on Tentacles Games - whatever, just let me see it, it really helps me out. Thank you for your interest! The Girls of your Dreams are waiting!

worst game I've played in a while
I get this after trying to run the game and then it crashes. this in chrome
Hi! Thanks for reporting this!
Does this happen when you press the Itch's red "Run game" button? So, the game doesn't even start? Or you mean the "Have a dream" button in-game? Can you please post a picture of the whole screen?
Also, what's your OS / browser?
this happens when I hit the have a dream button and the OS is chrome
I see, thanks.
Can you please post the screenshot of your whole screen, including the game area and all of the console? The screenshot you provided is unfortunately not enough for me to understand the root cause of the problem, as the errors I see there should've not crashed the game.
I fixed it it was because I had ublock origin on
Oh I see. Thanks for letting me know, I'm glad this got resolved!
Hi! Thanks for reporting this.
If you're on desktop, it would be really helpful if you sent me the logs from your console. You can do it like this:
I usually write long comments with all my feedback and thoughts when I play these games, this is the one I drafted and it's not perfect. I think some things could had been said or explained better, but sometimes I just write a template to myself to build upon. Like I was planning to go in depth on at least one of the monster girls and also to see at least one storyline (I think I read something on a vampire having one). I usually reword and rewrite the whole thing once I am done. Hopefully it has something that will be helpful in the development! I will write another one when I play it again
In case I didn't say it before. I have to say, I got the best start to the game. The best presentation. It was succubus queen first which made me understand how the game works, and then Yuki Onna which really hooked me in by showing me some of the best the game has to offer. I don't remember if they are scripted, but if they aren't, I really think you should make the first few levels people go through on their first playthrough consistent. Just to hook people. If you can't do that now, it may be possible later as more levels are added.
From December 23 2023?

Version: net-shag 0.3.34 (Prototype)
Trigger Warning (Skipable?): (skippable),
Non-pornographic depiction of....
Game: https://synthoel.itch.io/netshag
Note: Review in progress, I barely understand the game and I am new to it.
Note2: It's way too early in development to provide my thoughts on it properly. Some things that are underdeveloped can really kill my motivation to write here because I know it will be fixed in an update (but I also can't ignore it). I think I stopped after dying at the level filled with ghosts, he's already thinking about balancing the difficulty so it's okay but it also makes it so I can't write about that. There's also plans on improving the way you learn about the world and the monsters that would provide a much better raw experience.
So, I am very eager to play this once it's completed. So eager I might not wait until it's completed, but I really should wait some more.
TL;DR version
This is the sex dream simulator. It's finally here.
Come and delight yourself in the amazing things you will find in this world! That you always find yourself in after you fall asleep or get killed, because this is a very sexy game that does a very good job at making every monster girl feel unique. Some of the girls want to be fucked so roughly they pass out! while others want you to prove you are worthy of even approaching them. A dungeon crawler game that is heavily text based, where you explore labyrinths and see what you find and survive for as long as you can! but don't think it will be easy, because most people don't make it out alive.....
The game won't hold your hand, there are many things you will have to learn on your own and you have to get used to the controls. This game is pretty fun! I highly recommend this game. It's very sexy. Beware though, you have to spam some keys to move around so to avoid hurting your hand, use a key macro or an auto clicker :)

~~~ Full thoughts ~~~
This game has some amazing and exciting ideas with every kind of monster girl it introduces, it's so creative and it feels like each encounter has it's own story. Each story straight out of the perfect wet dream, attention is taken into your actions, your environment, and the people around you, as not only do you get the perfect fantasy in writing, with excellent reactions from your horny partners, but it does so with creativity. Introducing concepts that you never really hear in other sexual fantasy media, like the crystals that gets absorbed by your skin that rejuvenate you and allow you to last longer.
This game is a perfect wet dream all around. The art is amazing and every girl and species feels like they have a personality of their own that really stands out. There is some story telling in knowing the special properties of the Yuki Onna, how easy and horny the cat girls are, how violent the cow girls are, and how knowledgeable and egotistical the succubuses can be.
It even has something for cock and ball torture!.... or torture at least. I don't know if it's intentional, but I feel nothing but fear as I see the cow girl stomp on my helpless body until I turn into a pulp, bones breaking, arms spagetthi, can't feel my cock no more because nothing I do works! And they chase you and all I can say is "HELP, HEEEELP AAAAAAA!!"
I feel like I am back in high school again, being bullied and locked into the locker with the ferocious gyaru trying to beat me up, doing so until I stop dropping things like a pinata. I don't think they actually want anything I have, they just enjoy brutalizing me, and I am too weak to fight them off (or charm them without getting my knees broken the moment they see me).
I did eventually manage to understand how to charm them, but it's difficult
This is a very good game, and since it's only a prototype it's nice to see that the game can be so much better in the future. It would be great to see it be more polished and complete. The writing is pretty good, I would expect the quality in many areas to be much worse on a prototype. I can expect myself playing this for many hours since the gameplay is actually fun, having to figure out how to manage your resources and the best actions to take, this is a dungeon crawler! I think once it's done I might find myself playing for so much longer. It might easily become one of my favorite games, it's touching into the concept of dreams and the dream world and that is something I love, I would be excited to see how this would look once it's finished.
The music choice is great too, it's very happy music sometimes ^^ (maybe hololive bgm?) it can feel awkward when it gets quiet sometimes though.
Speedrun strat: Strafing = more speed. Press both right and up and you'll move faster for example.
Using an autoclicker or key macro may be recommended if you find yourself having to move so much your hand hurts. Autoclickers are more user friendly and easier to set up. (Alternatively, maybe one of your items can help you navigate)
One tip is that, if you are new to dungeon crawlers, don't be afraid to use your items. Even if the dev increased how many items you could store, it will still feel limited and the game can sometimes be very generous with item drops. Use them as much as you want! Have fun, but make sure to not drop an item you really need.
I am still pretty new to the game, but it might take a long time for me to take a break from this game and try something else. I love dungeon crawlers. So I'll be posting this now and sharing my final thoughts after I am done. (note, not from original draft: oh hey another template. At some point while playing I decided I won't complete it yet)
Bugs and more
Arch Linux - Wine GE Vulkan
Writing mistakes
Due to the nature of the game (in my eyes, fast paced), it's easy for me to miss writing mistakes.
Improvements
Additions
Brainstorming and sharing ideas I love or would like
Noob additions
Things I want in the game, but are probably not needed or are already in the game. With Dungeon Crawlers it's hard to know because they don't hold your hand or explain everything.
Developer, please continue to be strong! Your work is amazing and I want to see it through. Very happy to see you didn't give up on this
First of all, I am deeply, immensely thankful for your feedback! I started this project with no particular goal in mind, mostly as an excersize for myself, but seeing how it evolved, and knowing there's someone (even if its one person) who likes it - this means a world to me. Thank you!
Now, I'll try to give you some responses.
I can't help but tease a little bit, I have so much more of these things planned xD. It takes a lot of time to add them though, cause while I have the ideas, I'm bad at words (especially in English), so I have a wonderful writer who brings these ideas to life, and it takes a lot of iterations to achieve what I want.
I can assure you that the final version of the game will have music on all levels. Currently special encounters don't have it, cause I want them to have not just some generic music, but something that matches the atmosphere properly, which again, takes time.
Technically, the game registers each keystroke separately, so under the hood the character actually moves right first, and then up - so its two turns actually, but usually it will happen quick enough to create an illusion of going diagonally. To really move diagonally in one turn, you can use 1-3-7-9 buttons on NumPad, if you got one, or clicks. Just thought it might be important to note, cause it clutch situations spending extra turn to move might matter.
Autoclickers might suffice as a workaround, but make sure the click rate is not too high, cause if you set it to click like 10 times a second, the game might struggle to process it and freeze (I'll talk more about this later)
This was intentional, cause in the early stages the game wouldn't let you step on a tile with an item if your inventory is full, and if the item happened to be spawned in a corridor, you could be trapped (unable to go through the corridor). I can see now it was not the greatest solution, so as an alternative, I think about implementing a mechanic that if you're about to step on a tile with an item, and your inventory is full, you would push the item (Sokoban style). So you would see you can't pick it up immediately, and won't lose the chance to do it later.
I saw this issue before, and I thought it was fixed... Are you using the latest version of the game? I'll investigate this more.
Hmmm, haven't seen this one before, might be system specific. Will investigate too.
Definitely. I hope to solve this by adding more items (will be my next focus once I'm done with random encounters).
Yeah, probably, will reiterate on those. One note though: the description given to you is based on character's Intelligence stat (e.g. with low Int the character will look at liquid soap bottle and be like "yeah its a bottle", and with higher Int the game will give more details, but still not tell you exactly what it does)
Yes, you are 100% correct. Sorry for your hand xD. The more I test the game, the clearer I see walking is tiresome. I keep shelving this due to the complexity of the proper implementation for this (I'm not the best programmer in the world, and I might've made some poor decisions when laying down the architecture for the game, which now holds me back). I will still return to this problem, as it definitely requires some solution.
Absolutely, I have more in the works.
I'm not a fan of game over scenes, cause it gives me two contradicting goals:
(1) I want to progress the story / beat the game, so I should do my best.
(2) I don't want to miss out on content, so I should lose to see the scenes.
I remember playing MGQ and constantly saving before each battle, losing intentionally for the first time to see the scene, then reloading and actually put up a fight. And I didn't like that loop, it broke the tempo of the gameplay.
At the same time, I surely understand that once you opened all the illustrations (which will happen rather quick as there isn't a lot of them at the moment), it will become quite repetitive. I hoped to solve this with extra illustrations that you open with shards in the gallery, and then see in game. There's only one right now, so it doesn't really work, but I've added 9 new illustrations recently (not published yet), and in the final version of the game each girl will have at least 3 illustrations to unlock (not only with shards, but also by meeting certain requerements, like achievements).
Sure! There are some already (have you tried reading any spell scroll while being drunk?), and I have more planned.
Actually, one of the main characters (Kitsune) is gonna be pretty much that, although not exactly. I'll think about this more.
Yeah, this was brought up by other people too. Long story short, this is a result of my original intent to create "true Rogue-like" experience. I consider changing the UI for this completely, but this has to be thought out carefully and will require a lot of work, so I gave it a lower priority for now.
One of the ideas I had is when one of the main characters joins hero's harem, or when their attitude grows to a certain level, they would travel with the hero, acting like a helpful NPC, or maybe you would meet them during your runs more often and they would give you some aid or power you up a bit. Not sure how its gonna work in the end, cause all of these ideas are quite complex, but I'll cook something.
I have something in the works for one of these kinks already (won't tell you which one yet xD), and I can see others fitting well into the game too. Thank you for the suggestions! I will explore more territories in the future.
Are you reading my mind or what? xD
Allright, I'll give it away: besides goblins and harpies, there will also be orc girls in the desert one day, and they might like it when you're rough with them... But its gonna be more like an exception to the rule, cause I want the main focus of the game to be different.
Currently, browser version should be playable on mobile (although I'm sure there might be issues, please let me know if you find something specific). I can't promise more unfortunately, cause making a proper Android version is a huge commitment.
This is underdeveloped at the moment, but the girls will use the items you give them. So you will be able to give the blindness potion to a cowgirl, for example, she'll drink it and become disoriented for some time. It won't work on everyone though: for example, phoenixes will be smart enough not to drink it. None of this is currently implemented, but I have a huge document where I put all such ideas, and there's a lot of interactions planned.
By the way, about the restoration scroll. All the spells you cast by reading scrolls can fail. This depends on Int stat too. If that happens, the either the effect will be the opposite of intended (restoration scroll actually damaging you), or just nothing will happen. The game will highlight this with "You probably misread something" message.
While this is basically a rudiment from the times when the game was controlled with keyboard only (I was too lazy to implement pagination, so I limited contextual options to 10), during the testing I found out that I enjoy this limitation. It gives you some challenge by making you constantly think "do I really need this?", and as your experience with the game grows, you'll know better which items are actually worth keeping. I also like this as a compromise between realism (giving each item some weight and limiting the max weight you can carry) and game convention (if Doomguy can carry a BFG in his pocket, I can carry these 50 leather shirts no problem).
Anyways, as I said, its not certain, but I might revamp the UI for inventory completely one day, so this limitation will go away.
Phew, this turned out to be a hell of a wall of text xD. Just felt like I need to share some thought process and plans. Sorry if I missed something crucial. And thanks again for all your impressions and ideas. This makes me a bit nervous, as it reminds me how much work still lies ahead. But it also makes me excited, cause when I visualize the game in is final form, its damn beautiful xD. So thank you, I will surely not give up, and I'll do my best!
I really want to see them! There's so much you can do when you have all the freedom of a dream world. I hope you don't slack off on the writing despite having a writer, it's important to learn especially the small things, like punctuations and properly spelling words, and avoiding bad writing habits. English is also not my first language, but it's through practice that I have a lot of confidence in my english nowadays! (I am also aware of my weaknesses, like vocab, but I am working on it. The clumsyness though is hard to avoid :P)
I am probably going to be the first to get a speedrun record on this game. That's such a great advice! I wish I thought of that
I think the player can get stuck if you do this and you implement doors / narrow pathways. It's easy to imagine with zelda games and super mario odyssey since these puzzles are supposed to get you stuck if you don't think about it. Since the player can drop and pick up items, it might be easy to not get stuck but it might come at the cost of a valuable turn and it would force the player to drop the item.
I really wish you could walk through it instead, but if you can't, are you able to instead whenever the player interacts with the item, make it so the player doesn't move towards the item (action is blocked). Instead, it prompts the player if they want to discard the item, take it, push it, or ignore it. If they ignore it, nothing happens, they don't move forward they just stay where they were.
It would be great if that's possible. If you can't prompt the player before taking an action, and an action has to be taken, then I think pushing it is better since the alternative is a lot less frustrating.
Nope, I included the version I played at the top of my comment. I haven't played since December, but I tested the new version just now and it's fixed now
btw, if you want me to test the game any time let me know. I can't really play the whole game because I want to be able to see a lot of new things once the game is finished and also write freely about it, but if you tell me where to look I'll look there (example: new experimental level, testing if the game works on linux or android or browser, thoughts on new mechanic or difficullty, etc). I'll try to pay attention to your discord if you ever make announcements asking for help, but I am bad at keeping up with discord, I am trying to be better at it.
That's a good idea too, try to add traps too. You already have some, but I mean traps that work like puzzles. I think they work really well when combined with new items. Making a game replayable is a true mistery, I was thinking of Pixel Dungeon here and how they do it (not the best example since a big appeal of it is the difficulty, it would be tragic if people lost their fapping privileges because the game is too hard).
I think you already know this since you already do this: The player learning something new through their runs is something that can really help make the game replayable. I just hope you don't say too much when you male that encyclopedia. There's things that you can exclude, because for example "Sarah loves ice cream" is a detail that might be too personal to find in a bottle or a book. It's nice if the player can get rewarded with knowledge for making the right decisions in these dreams or for being very perceptive.
Oh! that explains it
I hope you don't shelve this so much that you accidentally create a mechanic that relies on your current walking mechanics, might be better to work on that before trying to balance the difficulty
I can see that, and I agree! It's true that it really kills the pace and it lowers the quality of the gameplay, they are only good as a fetish. I just want to see more content and more scenes, even with text alone, give me a satisfying reason to not ignore the text after the first succesful encounter.
Cultured minds think alike~
That's understandable, just running most android nsfw games on itch.io is already a challenge and I tend to find more bugs on mobile. Maybe someone can make it for you, maybe a volunteer or if the game makes enough profit you have some money to spare, that seems like the best outcome. I think if you tried to do it that would take a lot of time away from developing a lot of features in the game, and it will suck that the mobile version will often break when you update it
Any time I read that, I always assumed that is what's just always meant to happen regardless.... I don't know if that's my fault. I think it would be more obvious if it said "uh oh, you misread something" because it's no longer a probability and no one can assume the game is just (trying to tease?) or even more if it says "ah! I misread something"
I have bad habits with english like dismissing things I shouldn't, because english doesn't make sense and is often not literal, it's a song. My teacher agrees with me. Also focusing too much on some words or sentences. What I said here should be taken with a grain of salt.
Interesting.... so the hoarder will eventually be allowed to exist. I think this could change gameplay drastically, so it would be interesting to see the result
Here are my outdated abandoned music playlists, use what you can
Name is self-explanatory https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR5PeFLFNCySNYtI5_03brarTi2rqC-9m
I made this with the goal of finding music that you can use while reading, with mature text in mind (I guess sexy, but not mostly sexy). Some of them only to fit the personality of my blog. It was made for my blog that I privated because I wanted to revamp it https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR5PeFLFNCyRgimIo8Ai3_4YQ5glIlfAV
Also, look into hololive bgm mixes! I played those at work all the time
lofi & chill
Jazz
Bosa Nova & Chill
I think gacha games also have a lot of great music, Blue Archive has the best music. Arknights is also pretty good. Dova Syndrome is your friend.
If you can't use them, hopefully it helps as an idea!
I hope that the final product is so beautiful it makes me explode, I like that you are thinking big like me, I imagine this game being so much more, it's exciting.
Well, actually, now that I think of it properly, it shouldn't be too hard to do this. Maybe not with the prompt for now, I can start by allowing two entities in the same cell (player and item). I'll see what I can do
Oh, thank you for the kind offer, I can certainly use it one day!
My reasoning for not telling this directly was that the character can't tell whether they read the scroll properly or not. The game kinda says "well, shit happened - maybe cause you misread something, maybe cause it was just an ass scroll, who knows". Its the player who should conclude, based on the end result, if the action was a success. But I'll think more about this wording
That's not 100% decided yet, only a possibility
Thanks for this, I only listened to a couple of tracks so far, but I like what I hear xD. My goal is to use the music composed specifically for the game in the final version, but to achieve that I have to make a lot of planning to give the composer clear requirements, which I struggle with as I'm not particularly versed in this field. So your playlists are a great sourse of inspiration!
Great, best of luck in working on the game and I am glad you are looking into fixing the issues and taking the suggestions! The one about the failed scroll can also be solved if the game told you about how a scroll may not work if you misread it! Like a person or a book in a library, "make sure to read scrolls properly!" "careful reading random scroll you find lying around" maybe there are other paths you can take too, but you know if the character also doesn't know it shouldn't be called "scroll of regeneration" (unless the character is that stupid that they knowledge the title of the scroll and decided to ignore it, definetely a possibility). This could be more complicated though if the titles are adaptive, since it would at first say "scroll of death" and once the character reaches a higher intelligence stat after reading it would have to say "scroll of regeneration".
I just rambled off there into a train of thought :P I didn't mean it as a feature suggestion I guess but you can do that if you want to. I think scrolls work fine as they are now, even if it's not evident and I never found out on my own it's just another layer of difficulty and learning curve to the game, and like I said there's many different ways to communicate that better if you want to make it easier to understand
I am very glad the music serves as inspiration. I'll definetely post a song in the comments here if I feel like it clicked perfectly while I am playing.
honestly a skill issue on my part
Your skill is, of course, not a problem, but neither is the spawning mechanism, I believe. This situation could've been avoided if you stood next to the fence. The real problem, in my opinion, is that the game tells you this only when you lost to a cowgirl a couple of times, and only once, which is easy to miss. That's why I will be working on adding more ways to discover this (like the in-game encyclopedia I mentioned before).
Edit: by the way, I really appreciate time and effort you put into giving the feedback, thank you!
Nah i was just joking about the skill issue but thanks for the tip
question how do i get the phoenix or the cow lewd scenes? so far i figured out how to soothe the cow and that the phoenix likes scrolls but i'm lost from there
For cowgirls, you should have high Appeal (13+). Then, after knocking you down, she will not stomp on you, and will instead do something else.
For phoenixes, you just go ahead and use (S)ex action on her.
wait for the phoenixes do i have to do it twice?
Yes, each form of the phoenix has her own art, so you'll have to unlock them separately.
I just want to say I love this game, especially with the whole idea of a dream world. The writing can be really good at times.
I was trying to save my compliments for when I am finished with the game, but it's been a long time since I played and I usually wait more before I play games that are in progress. Especially this one because I lost my progress when I updated (I think browser version on Linux? On the "Do you guys not have phones?" version). I am very eager to play this again once it gets developed further.
Thank you for the kind words! Compliment about writing from someone who is a writer themselves means a lot xD
I'm really happy that the game managed to not only attract, but also keep your attention. I'm sorry for the slow progress - but this pace allows me to keep my daily job and avoid burning out, so it will probably remain the same. But I have a schedule, and according to it, I'm not falling behind xD. I hope to have more contentful updates soon.
Thanks again, your comment made my day xD
I am happy I made your day ^^
I don't mind the slow progress, I was just trying to say I didn't want to wait until it was finished to share how much I liked the game. Reading that again I think I explained myself poorly
question are there any plans to give the gems more uses than the gallery
One of the ideas I had in mind is to have an in-game encyclopedia with full details on monsters, items, effects etc., where entries would open naturally as you play, but if you are interested in something particular, you'd be able to open them immediately with some purely symbolic amount of gems.
The gallery, however, will be the main target for spending the dream shards. I know I haven't updated it in a while, but there will be much more content to unlock, and not only images.
I'm also open to suggestions!
i was thinking maybe we can use the gems to give our stats a smaller little boost,For an example 200 gems = 1 appeal and the price of gems rises times 2
I'm kinda against the meta progression, as my intent was that every run should be handled with only the items that you found within this run. I know this can be problematic right now, so I will dedicate more time to balancing in the future (making current items more powerful (the ring giving only +1 is kinda low), adding more items that either just make you stronger in general, or allow you to deal with certain species of monsters easier)
I really dislike the graveyard
I can understand that - from my limited playtesting, the ghosts might be quite annoying if you haven't found the binding sign. I definitely want to do something with this in the future; the options I'm considering are:
If there is anything else you could suggest, I'll be happy to hear from you.
i really only have a problem with the ghost girls because i've had cases where 4 or more are off spawn i think there should be a limit on them and make them spawn more spread out
Hi! Can you be more specific please? What exactly is your experience?
Additionally, as I usually ask, can you please tell me what browser and OS you're trying to run the game on? And if you're on desktop, it would be really helpful if you sent me the logs from your console. You can do it like this:
Thank you very much for this info! I reproduced this, there is indeed some problem with Opera specifically (for some reason, audio files won't load, which blocks further progress). I'll investigate this and try to come up with a fix soon.
So, seemingly, the issue was in a way how Opera handles the audio files downloading - it refuses to load them if you aren't going to use them immediately. I did a hotfix for Opera specifically, and it should be okay now, but you might experience little delays when certain audio is played for the first time (cause I can't preload it).
Please let me know if it worked, or there are still issues.
Hi! Lets start with the Succubus. First, please tell me what is the beginning of the scene (what are the first couple of paragraphs you see after activating the mirror, before you get the freeze). Also, please check the logs - in the same manner as before - and let me know if there are any errors there.
small problem:neither"5"nor the space bar works on the Mac web version
Hi! Thanks for reporting this! Lets try to figure out what is happening here.
Ok, here are my answers.
1.Yes, I am standing directly on the portal.
2.The rest of the navigation do work.
3.The game still runs smoothly when this happens
Thanks! Can you please also tell me what browser you're running the game on? And please check if there are any errors logged in the console (Option + Command + I to open dev tools, find the "Console" tab, try reproducing the bug, note if there is anything printed in red).
safari, the one that Mac has on its own
Hi! Sorry for the delay, holiday season and stuff, only checked the messages now. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the real Mac atm, so I cannot reproduce it myself, and thus will need your help. Have you tried to check the console in a way I described earlier? Also, can you please try running the game in Chrome (or any other browser, if you have one) - does the issue persist there too?
please make it so text is being written out pressing space or clicking the screen makes said text instantly appear the text crawl is sloooow and really boring to wait for
I understand the frustration, I'll see what I can do before the next update. By the way, on the "slowest" of the texts (the intro) click already works - although it skips the animation, and I agree that showing the text in full instead would be better.
Hey! Just wanted to let you know, text animation is now skippable! While its in progress, you can click anywhere on the screen, and the text will be shown instantly.
thx
Softlock Condition: making Spider faint by using tentacle rape spell traps you in her web. Unable to find a way out, at least with available items in my bag. Could we attack the web or revive her?
Hi! Thanks for reporting this!
This was actually just overlooked from my side. Web removal was implemented as a "reaction" to player's direct action, so when a Spider faints due to spell effect, it is not triggered. This is a bug, and will be fixed in the next update!
In the meanwhile, if you're unable to continue the game, please use the "Erase saved game" button in game's options. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Or, rather than lose progress, masturbate until you faint and reincarnate.
This is indeed an option, and I'm ashamed I forgot about it xD. Thanks for pointing that out!
Just FYI: this bug is now fixed, so the next time you're stuck in the web, defeating Spider by any means, including the scrolls, should correctly remove the web.
when i try to run the game it only shows a landscape with no menu. is there a button im supposed to press? am i missing something?
Hey! No, the menu should show up automatically, this must be a bug. Please let me know what browser and OS you're trying to run the game on.
Additionally, as I usually ask, if you're on desktop, can you please send me the logs from your console? You can do it like this:
Hi! Just wanted to let you know, that if you were using Opera, then I found an issue with it and deployed the fix, so it might work for you now!
If you were using something else, you can let me know, and I'll try to investigate.
I ran into a bug where I may have been clicking to fast but the cowgirl ran into me and everything on the map just froze, unable to interact. When I returned to the menu and continue back to the game it still doesn't do anything. The buttons on the top all work.
So I suggest adding an "Abandon Run" button in the menu, that way everything in the previous run may get wiped off and we can start over.
Other than that I also suggest letting the player inspect the items we can pick up or letting us drop items, since not all monsters are able to be given items.
Hey! Thanks a lot for your comment!
I have a couple of ideas regarding what could've happened there, but as usual, if you could please check the logs and tell me if there are any errors - that would help me immensely (I had an instruction on how to see the logs in my answer to the comment below).
Regarding "Abandon Run" button - it is in my to-do list, and will definitely be there in the final version of the game.
The inability to inspect items that are on the ground is by design - I don't want to give up too much info about the item before you pick it up, so I think that seeing item's tile is just enough. But as for dropping the items - you're certainly right, its a much needed ability, and you know what? I have just added it this week! It will be available in the next build, which comes out next Sunday.
im not the best at coding so i recorded my screen, but the red parts are only here:
also, another bug I encountered, not recreatable cuz of my circumstances(lol):
So I put on a chasity belt by accident, then I found a key, so I used it to take the belt off. Then I got curious to why the item reappeared in my inventory and clicked it. It put the belt back on, and guess what, the key was broken. Now here's the problem, when I picked up new not-broken keys, it puts them in the same stack as the broken keys, increasing the number of the broken key item as I try to find where the "key" is until I realize there's no key and only a bunch of broken keys.
Thanks, this is incredibly helpful!
So, as for the main issue: since there are no errors thrown when you try to move the character, and as you mentioned that you was clicking fast, my main theory is that something went wrong with the game's scheduler. You see, the way it works is this: there are several "actors": you, the player, and the monsters; you all act in turns, and while the monsters are acting, the controls are locked, preventing you from acting at the same time. Normally, once all the monsters are done with their turns, the controls are unlocked, but it seems like it didn't happen for some reason.
I have one more thing to ask from you: can you please go to dev tools one more time, but this time:
I'll then be able to use this save and check the exact game state that you have. I always wanted to add a button to export this more conveniently, but never actually got to it - sorry xD. I'll definitely add it soon!
As for the other issue (the keys): this is something I totally overlooked! The "drop" action will soften it a bit (as you would be able to remove the first item from the stack, and thus the next time you try to use the key, it would use the unbroken one). But I admit that its not convenient at all. There are multiple solutions for this that I can think of:
Personally, I would prefer the third option, as it is the easiest to implement xD. But please let me know what do you think about it (how would you prefer this to function), and I will try to have these updates ready in the next month's build!
Not very sure how to use pastebin so I turned to this thing here...
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YQZBw34OJGrknlaaMgqt907IN1oLSwAmCnolZTHrKzQ/...
About the broken keys, I think we can just let the character automatically throw them(3rd option). So after unlocking the chasity belt, there can be a message saying something like "The key broke after usage so you threw it away", and the chasity belt's gonna need "something" too.
Something that can come with this is monsters that react to littering random things in their vicinity, but I'm not sure what kind would.
Okay, we're getting close!
Unfortunately, this Google doc won't do - it seems like it applied formatting to it for some reason (the ordered list), and it should've been just one long string. This formatting corrupts the data, and I cannot properly decode it (and if I just remove the numbers, it only parses small part of it and then fails).
Maybe you can just post in the comment here? My argument about cluttering was kinda dumb, who cares xD. Although, it might apply formatting too...
Other alternative is to save to some .txt file (not .docx) and then upload it somewhere like Google Drive / Dropbox / Mega? Pretty please with sugar on top! Sorry, I know its getting annoying, but I feel like we're almost there
browser version is broken. nothing loads after the starting screen. doesnt matter if i click new game or options,gallery does open up without loading, i hope you fix this soon
Hi! Thanks for reporting this!
I cannot reproduce the behaviour you described, unfortunately, so I'm gonna need your help to fix this. First, can you please tell me what browser and OS you're trying to run the game on? Second, if you're on desktop, can you please send me the logs from your console? Like this:
I would like to report a problem. When I select the download, I only get the application, and nothing else. Thus, the game doesn't launch because it's looking for a bunch of things that don't exist in my downloads. If you have way to fix this, I would be grateful, this looks like a fun game.
Thanks for reporting this! I reproduced the error, will try to fix it today.
Edit: I deployed the hotfix; its still a single, "all-in-one" executable, but missing dependency should not cause an error now. Please check when you have time and let me know if that worked!
It did work, thank you!
Is it possible to change the games screen resolution? Its kinda impossible to play otherwise (my computers resolution is funky). Im fine with it being in windowed if it must
Unfortunately, not at the moment. In browser, the game resolution will always be equal to the browser's viewport size, and in desktop version - to the window size. With the technologies I'm using, changing that is nearly impossible.
I plan to add fullscreen / windowed toggle to the game options though; I can prioritize it for the next month build if it helps.
By the way, what resolution do you have?
I think my computers resolution is 2256 x 1504, like I said, weird. tall screen, very tall screen
I'll try to reproduce it and maybe come up with some adaptation. If I'm not able to do that, then I'll at least allow opening the game in a windowed mode. Either way, I'll add some way to mitigate this problem in this month build (should be out around 20th). Please bear with me! 🐻
will do bro
Hey! Regarding our issue: I haven't found a way to test the game on a real screen with resolution like yours, unfortunately, but I added new setting that allows you to run the game in windowed mode! It is now available in the latest build. Please let me know if it helped!
is there a way to restart the game, because I got stuck
like can i start from the beginning again
dont mind my two account
nevermind i just came to much so I died
Hi! Sorry for the late response. Can you please describe more in details how exactly you got stuck? Do you mean in a web, or in a trap? Or the map was generated incorrectly?
i just got stuck in a web and didnt know how to take off my chastity belt
The game crashes after answering each simon question in browser.
Hi! Thanks for reporting this!
I'm afraid I can't reproduce this at the moment. Can you please specify browser you're using (including the version)?
Also, can you please do the following:
Um, is there any way to see all the controls? I thought that's what clicking the question mark would do, but that appears to be nonfunctional.
Sorry about that, they were in game description before - I updated it, and was going to add the hints to the game instead, but that was delayed.
Currently, controls include:
picklewoman, the action is unavailable. If no one is around, the hero just jerks off.I hope to be able to put all of this into the game in the next update.
Um... what if you don't have num pad? Totally not me at all. XD
Unfortunately, for now NumPad is the only option. Ability to reassign buttons is planned, but currently I cannot give an estimate on when it will be implemented.
So far it its unplayable on a laptop.
In the next update, the game will allow you to use clicks to move. It should be out in about a week.
Edit: update is here, check it out! You can make the character move using the arrow buttons, as well as by simply clicking in the desired direction. Moving between locations can be done with the space bar.
